Purpose, Method, Dose Log
Supplement Dosage Regimen (2 wk template designed July 2008)
Warning: This regimen (dosage and items) is still being designed for Jaymun a 33 pound 2 year old based on evidence researched
and pending any other experimental hospital therapy offered to us by the doctors. At the very least it could provide hospital therapies with an extra edge, and on the other hand it may be all we have left (medically speaking)
to fight refractory, relapsed, congenintal AML, to extend Jaymun's life and ease symptoms.

See links to supplements on left - this regimen is not yet implemented because of unanswered questions (dangers?).
Also - sections of Jaymun's actual dosage log will replace parts of this plan.

Goals for Jaymun:
To get the anti-LSC effect of FeverFew tea (parthenolide)
To get the anti-blast effect of substances like (Green tea, Resveratrol, Pau d'Arco, Garlic, Quercetin, Ellagic Acid, etc.)
To get the immune/NK boost of several other substances (Astragalus, Colostrum, Reishi Mushrooms, Echinacea, etc.)
To strengthen/repair digestive system (Aloe, Slippery Elm, Burdock, Vitamin E, etc.)
To build blood faster (Chorophyll, Spirulena, etc.)
To heal/protect the nervous system/brain (GABA, Omega 3, etc.)
To detox and support the liver/kidneys (Milk Thistle, Mangosteen, N Acytl Cysteine, etc.)
To maximize synergistic anti-leukemic effects of Echinacea, Milk Thistle, Resveratrol, Mangosteen, Goji, Quercetin, Green Tea, Ellagic Acid, etc.)

Notes:
& Need to figure out theraputic dosage for these items?   Give extra doses of these items (warm tea where possible) spaced out during that day.
# Mix the probiotics with milk, yogurt, or Kefir to administer
  * These items are first mixed with the preheated (mildly) water and after cooling the rest is mixed in - drawn into two ounce syringes, and given 2 to 4 ounces at a time (an hour apart if needed) through his NG tube
I think Curcumin bothers Jaymun's stomach - so I combine curcumin dose with aloe vera for soothing, and Kefir so the grains are suspended and don't get stuck in his NG tube
When making small two-ounce batches of concentrated tea - before administering, mix with 1 oz of liquid aloe vera to cool and sooth

Challenges / Questions:
FeverFew, Quercetin, etc. interfere with platelets (reduce clotting/increase risk of bleeding) (so extra Vitamin K?)
FeverFew increases constipation? (so supplement Slippery Elm and "whole leaf" Aloe?)
FeverFew depletes glutethione - (so supplement N-Acytl Cysteine?)
Which items (FeverFew, Green Tea, Una de Gato, etc.) work in oxidative manner and does that have anything to do with antioxidents?
(if so, should the rotation be longer (space out antioxidents) or should we shun things like N-Acytl Cysteine alltogether?)
Sesquiterpines seem to have a Tachy side effect - Would premeding with Tylanol 1/2 hour before FeverFew help?
Is Curcumin hard on Jaymun's stomach? - So give with aloe and food?
Burdock sensitises cancer cells to a "nutritionally starved" condition - is that even possible here?
After seven days Echinacea suppresses immune system? So one week on, two weeks off for Echinacea?
Check out the Soy (Genestein)/Estrogen link before using that for Jaymun
Burdock inhibits TNF-Alpha from activated Macrophages - how to best use with reishi mushrooms (that activate macrophages)
