Following up on my post the other week about timely access to peripheral blood slide pictures:
I had been requesting this information to help me make treatment decisions since mid September. The first information I got soon after Jaymun died was in this file. (which was missing several days I had asked for).
I have notes from multiple conversations with the Childrens Hospital Lab (Karen, Judy, Lora, etc.) but we have all been directed to only have a single point of communication for this matter - through Altheia Roquemore-Goins (the lab director).
She and I had a conversation the evening of Oct 29, and subsequent conversations. She confirmed she was keeping the slides safe, and agreed that the lab would provide me with a detailed image for each slide (at least from the 9th through the 12th) ...detailed enough to perform manual differentials.
Yesterday afternoon Altheia emailed me this file. I have not had the chance to analyse it to see if I will be able to perform manual diff's, but a cursory glance tells me that again
information from the 9th is missing, and there is only one picture from the 11th.
I'll follow up more on this next week.
If anyone has any thoughts on this, email me.
