Happy 3rd Birthday, Jaymun!
Sending hugs & kisses to a very special little boy. I have loved watching you grow in the pictures Mommy shares here.
I praise God every day for bringing you into such a warm, loving family who delights in your every moment...even the kinda naughty ones. :)
I can't wait for your Mommy to come & play with me soon.
Tell her to call or e-mail when she finds a spare moment in that demanding social calendar of hers.
P.S. Asha, Ryder & Koley (and Todd) send hugs your way, too!

We continue to be in your corner, always believing that you WILL find a way. No one has ever worked harder to save the life of a child. Against all odds, Jaymun is still with you, and I just have to believe there is a reason for that. There MUST be better ways to cure cancer. The kids at Oconomowoc High School may have it right, or maybe there is some other combination out there.
Henry David Thoreau said, "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours."
Your dream is to keep Jaymun alive.Jaymun is an important part of the family you imagined. You have always advanced confidently. You WILL succeed. I believe all the drama is the universe, spirit, God, whatever anyone wants to call it......playing a major drum roll, gathering the attention of the world.
I send you prayer....

Jaymun, Jen, Dave, and all,
I'm in Houston this week, but have been thinking of you all and sending lots of prayers and good thoughts your way.
20 May 2009 -
I always check back to see how little Jaymun is doing.
He looks so happy despite the cancer. You have one special little guy there.
I'm sure you know this though. My prayers are with him and with your family and with
and Kaitlin's family
May the Lord bless you and keep you all.
12 May 2009 -
I always check the blog to see what's new with the Kaat family!
It is exciting to know you've all been doing so well and that you had such an awesome experience in Florida.
I keep you all in my prayers and am especially thankful that Jaymun is enjoying his little life to the fullest.
God is so good ... all the time.
God bless and looking forward to the next 7 segments! :)

Hey! I'm one of the kids that worked in Oconomowoc on the Moringa project
I just want to say that you have really made this project worth while!
I think that this research evolved from just high school science class, to something much greater.
With your help and the story of Jaymun, others will realize herbs may be the actual cure for cancer
and other diseases. I hope that Jaymun continues to get better, and we can still work together to
further this blessing. Thank you so much, and God bless. Staci Stapleton
"Once you choose hope, anything's possible."

Mike Olander - a friend and fellow teacher in Oconomowoc- sent me information about his students' interest in
Jaymun's herbal concoction. Mike and his students' work with the moringa plant
has given many people new hope for that next big step toward cancer treatment.
Let us never underestimate the power of prayer and the power of plants!

Hi, Just wanted you to know that we are praying for Jaymun and family.
22 Apr 2009 -
I've been sent Jaymun's story by Kerry Stanhope, who has had the pleasures of working with Jaymun's mom at a summer camp.
I live in England (where Kerry's from), but I'm American, and Jaymun has touched my heart.
I would like you all to know that a prayer will be said daily for Jaymun.
The Power of Prayer is amazing!! All the best, and God Bless your little man and his beautiful family.

It was SO GOOD to see Jaymun (and Dave) yesterday!!!
We miss him so much, but are glad you're not at the hospital much anymore.
Jaymun is such a little miracle that I know he can make it through anything.
We are all always thinking and praying for you guys.
We love you Jaymun and the entire KAAT Clan! :) Love, Nurse Kelly

We are thinking of you guys and something told me to check your site today at lunch.
I pray that this will be just a minor glitch in the road for your family and that you will be able to easily recover
from this one too. We miss you all and are craving a dose of Dave's antics so we should plan something soon!
Take care, Becky

Did you guys get to go on your trip of a lifetime? I am so happy for you all! Amazing that you are on this new road!
I am so proud and grateful for your perseverance! You amaze me! Kris Meffert

I love checking in on you all from time to time and see how the family is doing.
You guys will always hold a special place in my heart and Jaymun crosses my mind so much
while I am out training for yet another marathon for Team in Training.
I commend you on your search for alternatives to this harsh treatment process.
My hope is that one day I will be running and coaching for fun and not to raise money
for this disease. I look forward to a day where Jaymun may be running beside me and not
just in my mind.
P.S. the pictures are always fantastic! :) Wishing you all the best!
Mark Dorman Team in Training
(Thanks Mark - we were proud to have you running in 2006 - keep up the good work)

I pray for your child nightly.. I found your website through Jule Lyon's.
She was a highschool classmate. I have never been happier than reading that he is in remission.
Thank God for you and for saving his life.
You should write a book or find ways to pass on your research.
Think of the work the Lord is doing through you.
I love reading your posts, you write beautifully. Blessings to you and your family, and thank Jesus for restoring your peace and healing your beloved son.
I will keep him in my prayers that he enjoys a happy healthy life and reaches an old age with all that life has to offer.
In His name Nancy

I am so glad your beautiful son is doing well. He truly is "triumphant" and "well-favored."
I am interested in what you have learned about herbs and supplements.
Thank you for sharing your difficult journey and story with others.
Congrats on finally getting your son home. He is a testament to the power of prayer!!!
May he continue to do well and get stronger every day for a full and lasting recovery.
What herbs do you have him on in the maintenance period?
I am an AML survivor myself: 1.5 years post allo transplant and doing well, all the glory to God.

Have only come across your website today. I have cried so much ! My 10 year old son Matthew was dx with AML M2 on December 16th 2008. A doctors appointment at 17.45 on Monday 15th December, then a blood test next day at 10.00, our life turned upside down in less than 6 hours and my son was in a hospital bed an hour from home having chemotherapy. You have done so well in supporting Jaymun through this terrible time. You are an inspiration. I will keep reading and getting updates.
My son Matt is responding well and about to start course 3. We have just had him home for 2 weeks between courses 2-3, which has been wonderful.
Much love from Belinda, Matthew and Thomas
(little brother aged 6) from Rayleigh, Essex, England.

I am so, so happy to read the wonderful news about Jaymun.
He is such a doll baby! I am praising God for this miracle.
I wonder if the medical community will study your findings in a larger study now.
It really needs to be done for the sake of children everywhere.

As you can imagine, we were overjoyed to hear of Jaymun's remission.
We are so thrilled for your family.
Godspeed and blessings as you all work toward feeling "safe" again.
Jen mentioned in one post that she felt she would never feel safe again,
and I have thought of that so often. It resonates loudly with us.
