Fri, 23 Jan 2009 22:01 - Here was my first thought after clicking
JOYFUL JOYFUL we adore thee! God of Glory, LORD of love Karen T
1. Joyful, joyful, we adore thee,
  God of glory, Lord of love;
  hearts unfold like flowers before thee,
  opening to the sun above.
  Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;
  drive the dark of doubt away.
  Giver of immortal gladness,
  fill us with the light of day!

2. All thy works with joy surround thee,
  earth and heaven reflect thy rays,
  stars and angels sing around thee,
  center of unbroken praise.
  Field and forest, vale and mountain,
  flowery meadow, flashing sea,
  chanting bird and flowing fountain,
  call us to rejoice in thee.
3. Thou art giving and forgiving,
  ever blessing, ever blest,
  well-spring of the joy of living,
  ocean depth of happy rest!
  Thou our Father, Christ our brother,
  all who live in love are thine;
  teach us how to love each other,
  lift us to the joy divine.

4. Mortals, join the mighty chorus
  which the morning stars began;
  love divine is reigning o'er us,
  binding all within its span.
  Ever singing, march we onward,
  victors in the midst of strife;
  joyful music leads us sunward,
  in the triumph song of life.

Sat, 17 Jan 2009 13:00 - Dear Jennifer, This is such a beautiful story of your Christmas, and I agree with you completely. I am thankful Jaymun was there to celebrate with you after such a difficult and uncertain year he has had. I visit quite a few carepages and it is heartbreaking to read the ups and downs and the pain in losing a precious child. Four little guys that I have been praying for have left us since the beginning of this year. I pray for you all often and it blesses me to see how Jaymun is doing right now. I hope you are recovering from your horrible accident and have no permanent injuries. My heart just sank when I read that post and saw the picture. God is so good and the picture posted here is just perfect, BLESSED. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Laurie

Fri, 16 Jan 2009 06:39 - I love these pictures and that he hasn't given up Elmo for the croc ... it is so fun to see him enjoying life so much. Take good care and God bless. Heather Beyer & Family

Every time I come to your site and see him well it fills my happy cup! Hope you are feeling better soon. Alison, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

Tue, 13 Jan 2009 12:25 - Just another quick note to tell you that Jaymun brings tears to my eyes doing mundane things like wearing sunglasses and drinking from a sippy cup. Kathryn Kleinhans

Mon, 12 Jan 2009 17:50 - Dearest Kaat Family, It's wonderful to see pictures of you and to see how much you've grown. Jaymun, I know that you have wonderful faith-filled loving parents. I can tell that you have older sibs who adore you too. I will keep your family in my prayers and will think of you often. Love, Christine Hamele (Statz) (past Camp Wawbeek staffer)

Fri, 9 Jan 2009 17:03 - Jaymun, It is such a joy to see your photos. I am the transplant nurse with your insurance carrier and was just checking to see if you are as handsome today than yesterday.....and not to my surprise, you certainly are. Your wonderful family certainly appreciate your bright smile and your presence. Take care now and I will keep peeking in to see how you are doing. God Bless you all. Janet Imig, RN, BS Transplant Casemanager

Wed, 7 Jan 2009 11:33 - I do like all the medical updates and herb info- but what I like the most if your photos of the kids, they are so beautiful, and full of life. Wed, 7 Jan 2009 07:46 - Yep, I am one of those people who checked in daily to see how you are. That picture of your car made my heart leap. I am so glad to know that You are all doing okay inspite of the injuries you received. I have been praying for you and Devon, and of course the rest of the family too. God is So good and His hand was on you that day big time. I like anything you write about Jaymun, seriously. Your post of pictures in the fall were just Heart melting and such an answer to prayer to see your little man up and enjoying life. He is an amazing little boy and a miracle in the making. I Love your family’s unity and faith. I pray for you all. Love and Hugs, Laurie in Ca.

Wed, 7 Jan 2009 10:48 - Hi! Glad to hear you're feeling better. You're all always in my prayers and will remain there. You asked what I like most about the site so here it is. I like seeing the pictures & love the cute ones of Jaymun's happy little face playing & reading about how you all are doing. Although I don't really understand all the stuff that Dave posts about the clinical stuff I have told some people I've talked to that have cancer to check the site and read what Dave has written because it may be helpful to them too. I think you're providing information to families that will help them in the future or even now. I wish you hadn't had to find all this out the hard way but I'm sure it will benefit others. I wish you the happiest and uneventful 2009. Heather Love

Tue, 6 Jan 2009 15:54 - Hi, I enjoy reading your Blog and praying for your sweet son. Waiting for the day when you will write that he has been completely healed. With love, Beth Frazier

Tue, 6 Jan 2009 11:35 - I am so glad to hear that you are alright from your accident and that Jaymun is still doing well. I know you haven't heard from me before, I lurk in the shadows, read your updates, and pray. I am also responding to your request of what we "lurkers" and general readers like to see most on the website. It's not the specific content that I like to see. I just like to check in and see that everything is normal, that your wonderful family is happy, healthy, and doing alright. Or, if not, that I can pray for you all for something. I guess it's more about frequency than anything for me. A picture here, a short story about Jaymun there, etc. Love in Christ, Ellen Gallman

Mon, 5 Jan 2009 19:59 - I love the updates, getting to know your family and hearing the latest news about Jaymun. Over the past 2 years I've grown to love your family and check your blog every day to see if you've updated it. I love the Halloween pictures you took of Jaymun, the medical updates Dave gave us when things were so rough, and just praying with you all through the hard times. In a nutshell, I like whatever you post. It is a privilege to know your family throug this little space on the internet. Thank you all for sharing so much of your life with readers you don't even know. You all are always in my prayers and I check in on you daily. God bless and happy 2009!! Heather Beyer

Hello Dear Kaats,
I am signing in on Jaymun's guestbook quite possibly for the first time. I check in on your updates regularly and every time I read your journals I am enlightened and words cannot come to express how you make this whole experience feel for me. I remember back during Jaymun's last admission and how you were told the most horrible news a parent could ever here ...and I look at you all now and I can't help but grin. I know that everyone has a different experience and everyone and every circumstance is not the same. But to hear Dave say straight to the Docs and I'll never forget it. "Okay.. well I just don't believe you." It is just so awesome for someone like me who has very few miracles to witness, to see you and your beautiful family now. I think that whatever it is you are doing to keep doing it. I know you know to keep faith, so I don't have to tell you to do that. I just wanted you to know how wonderful you make me feel. I need to see and hear your heartwarming words, I need to see pictures of your beautiful family, and I want to know that you are all doing okay. Please remember that we don't always see such happy endings, and I thank God that he gave such wonderful people a chance to show their family how much they love them. I will continue to pray for you all as always.
Lots of Love, Nurse Kyla

Fri, 14 Nov 2008 16:13 - Wow is all I can say. Your post really touched my heart. I pray that God will continue to show your his nuggets of hope as you so eloquently called them. It remains my continued prayer that someday you will be blogging about the birth of Jaymun's child. All things are possible. Continue to hold and love that little guy. Please know that prayers are going up from Louisiana on your behalf. I have never met you guys but you are still in my thoughts and prayers. Sarah Myres

Fri, 14 Nov 2008 10:47 - Thank you Kaat family, one and all. It was good to see a post today and the pictures that say 1000 and one things. Know that there are countless people that do follow your story and uplift you in their prayers. Thank you for desiring to give our mighty God glory still in this hard, difficult time. Kristi in the middle of Michigan's mitten.
