Jennifer and Dave,
I stopped in at Culligan the other day and found out what's been going on with your family!
There are no words to express our sympathy and concern for you.
You and the entire family are in our thougths and prayers!
We know that you know the only place to find comfort and peace is at the foot of the cross of our risen savior,
Jesus Christ. Be assured we'll be praying for you!!

Dear Kaat family,
You continue to constantly be in our prayers. 'Pray without ceasing'. We do not know the plans that God has for each and everyone of us. They are in the hands of God.

Dear Family of Jaymun
The thought of children with cancer is one of the hardest things in life. Not that cancer is great for anyone, but innocent children whose lives have hardly even begun, having to go through the treatments and everything that pops up in the course of treatment has to be the worst thing.
It breaks our hearts.
I thank God for his mercy and for your faith, and for your being great parents to your children. I pray that you and Jaymun are strengthened to get through this struggle, learning His lessons and growing in faith and love.
Faith and fight are what it's all about.
Keeping you in prayer, (Becky VanBeek's Godmother and Aunt) Diane Meach

Dear Dave and Jennifer: We check your log at least twice daily and join countless others in lifting Jaymun's care to our loving, caring, all-powerful, all-knowing Father in heaven.
And today, our thoughts for you both is HOPE.
I once read the following, 'Hope nurtures the soul like a cupped hand protects a flame.'
And perhaps this is an appropriate time to recall 1 Corinthians 13:13;
'And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.'
There it is - smack dab in the middle -'hope' - surrounded by 'faith and love'. That's our message to you today.
May God continue to give you strength for each moment today.

Hey little guy, We are praying for you here in Elberton, GA. Every time I read a post,
I sit here and cry and pray for this special, sweet angel. I've sat here countless times and asked God,
'Why? Why this sweet child?' I know we may never see the big picture but he does.
My heart goes out to you guys. Don't let your faith falter and hold fast to our precious, wonderful, merciful healer.
I'm praying fervently for little Jaymun!

Just a note to let you know that we check in on Jaymun all the time and
are continuing to pray for his health as he tries to get to second
transplant. We are so sorry that you are here again - we need a success
story! We are so thankful to hear that the lungs are still clear. We
are praying specifically that fungus infections stay away. We remember
so well longing to hear the counts each day and hoping for improvement.
Some days are really long but cherish every moment you have together.
We know you do! With many prayers and thoughts,
Steve and Anita Martin

Last night, as I watched Fellowship of the Ring with my kids,
I thought of Jaymun for some reason.
So naturally I asked the LORD to please, please look with mercy on your family.
I may have heard him say that Jaymun is fulfilling the purpose for which he was sent.
I asked Him, please, to be glorified, and I think He was assuring me that He was, by all accounts.
Then I politely asked Him if it be his will, to heal, since He did tell us if any was sick, to pray, in faith.
I know some live, some go home to be with our Jesus, and some stay here to continue to glorify God in the way He deems best.
I am writing to tell you, my brother, I am doing my part as your sister and you seem to be doing your part well as Jaymun's father and the leader of your home.
For those of us out here in the WWW- may I say you are bringing glory to God.
Thank you. Your faith is strong, and a testimony to the goodness of God.

Dear Kaat Family, and especially Jaymun,
I have visited your website daily since Jaymun was born, and have not yet written in the guestbook.
I want to let you know that we pray very hard for you every night for the Lord to show Himself in the
form of a miracle for that sweet little boy. I have had the joy of meeting Jaymun at St. John's many times,
and also you Jennifer at Kindergarten field trips with Sean and my daughter Olivia. J
Your family's faith in God is an inspiration to us all. We will continue to pray, HARD for Jaymun.

Dear Kaat Family ~
In reading your latest post today, I was instantly reminded of a sermon
regarding healing, preached by our pastor, Rich Nathan, at Vineyard Church
of Columbus last weekend (June 15, 2008). It was a powerful message that
answered questions I had long pondered, and at the Lord's prompting, I
wanted to forward the link
on to you in the hope that you, too, might find comfort and encouragement.
I must tell you that I am continuing to pray for a complete and miraculous
healing for Jaymun. In my humanness, I pray desperately for the Lord's
healing mercy, that Jaymun and his light would continue to shine in this
life, and that he would continue to be blessed beyond measure by parents
who love him so dearly. As we wait upon God for total healing, I am
comforted by Rich's message: While we don't always understand the Lord's
ways, we do know that there is NOTHING we are experiencing that God has not
already experienced through His son, Jesus Christ. God has been where you
are. He has watched as His son suffered pain and brokenness. How awesome to
be reminded that we love and serve a God who is not distant from us, but One
who identifies with every cry of our hearts.
While you are welcome to include my message in your guestbook, please don't
feel it necessary to do so. I simply wanted to share with you
that has blessed my life, just as you and your family have blessed me by
sharing so poignantly throughout 'Jaymun's Journey.'
With love in Christ, Laura Mason

Broken hearted for you all
When Jen wrote that her only coping mechanism at the moment was to 'not think'
I so totally understood that.
I know your faith is strong, but faith does not lessen the pain.
Words are inadequate to tell you how sorry we are that you are where you are at.

Oh My Gosh, Dave! You must give the staff
at CHW fainting spells!!! :)
But then again, who was taping for you, Andy maybe? Naughty, naughty boys!
So good to see Jaymun smiling and enjoying the ride.
I'm thinking of you constantly, with love and prayers, Joan Stoffel (Isaiah's grandma)

"Dad" - I've been keeping up with Jaymun and your family for quite some time through the blog.
I've never commented, but almost daily I check to see how he's doing.
Your journal entries have always been wonderfully informative, and sometimes quite entertaining!
As I read the latest entry
to see how YOUR family is doing,
I couldn't believe how perfect it was.
Exactly the reminder that I needed today in my life.
I'm so grateful that God has positioned you in a place where you can reach so many, even in the dark hours of this struggle that you're in the midst of.
Thank you for sharing your journey; wishing all of God's blessings for your family...

Your journal entry about God not having a pager
was great, Dave.
He doesn't have a cell-phone on which He is busily text-messaging other people while you are talking to Him either!
(Does anyone else have this happen with teenagers???) We are holding you and Jen in prayer along
with Jaymun. We pray you have 'thick' skin with people's not-well-thought-out comments, and 'thin' skin to love those same people
anyway. God has allowed such a rocky path for you all to walk and yet you continue to turn to Him at each new bend in the path.
It's inspiring, so thanks. Love, the Shepard family

Dear Kaat Family. I was just reading all the blogs about Jaymun. Many of them brought tears to my eyes, but your family is so strong! :) I admire all of you for your amazing strength and faith in God! God has His hand in everything that happens. Keep up the great faith in God. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
