Thu, 28 Dec 2006 11:15 - Ha ha ha... I'm crying from one post knowing where you have been and laughing till I hurt on the next one. At least you're able to have fun given the situation. That my dear will keep your sanity. Happy New Year dear family! Jill Gallegos

Wed, 27 Dec 2006 15:21 - You & Jaymun are going to get yourselves into big trouble!! One day, when he is old enough to come up with his own antics, you had better watch out :). I am glad to hear the two of you have not lost your sense of humor--I just hope the nurses haven't either! My family & I read the updates on your precious son. I am so glad to hear the good news you have been reporting. What a blessing. We will continue praying. Kristi Gouch & family

Wed, 27 Dec 2006 11:13 - My name is Crystal Simpson, the mother to Amiyah Simpson, formally a patient of the PICU (Bed 18). I was just sitting at home thinking of you all, and decided to get on and check on my little friend. I am glad to hear that things are getting better, and we will continue to pray for his continued progress. God is a miracle worker...we look at Amiyah everyday and see how wonderful his work is. Amiyah has been home for about 5 days now, and is doing wonderful. May God Bless you and your family through it all. Simpsons

Wed, 27 Dec 2006 13:36 - Dear Dave and Jennifer, My name is Janet Payne and I go to church with [your sister] Lois. I asked her how Jaymun was doing and she told me about your web site. I wanted to see how he was doing. I am glad that he is doing better. Life is hard but God gives us peace. God's Grace is sufficient. He is such a beautiful baby. I really enjoyed looking at all the pictures. What a miracle that Devon was compatible with Jaymun. God Bless Devon. I will continue to pray for your family. May the Lord's face shine upon you. Love in Christ, Janet Payne

Wed, 27 Dec 2006 08:13 - Jennifer Dave and Family ~ I just wanted to let you know I have been keeping up with your story and Jaymunís progress for the last few weeks. Prayers have gone up for each of you, and I had to stop and tell you how my heart exploded and tears came to my eyes when I read his progress in the last few days! I can only imagine your joy had made mine seem insignificant. You it help you to know that your story has touched people far reaching on this planet in ways that you may never know. Somewhere somehow you and Jaymun have touched someone who may not have been touched any other way, maybe you renewed a faith, started someoneís faith journey, or just blessed someoneís day. I totally believe all things that happen to us, have a real tangible purpose here on earth. Unfortunately, we often never see the fruits of the suffering. I pray that you all feel the blessings that your journey may have created in someone elseís life. We will continue to pray for all of you, that Jaymun can soon come home and by next Christmas this is all an faded memory. Best wishes to each of you. James F.

Tue, 26 Dec 2006 21:01 - Dave~ I'm sure Jaymun's smile on Christmas Day was the best present you could have ever asked for. Sorry you couldn't all be together for Christmas, but I pray that there will be many more to come that you will all be together as a family. Take care little Jaymun. Tania

Mon, 25 Dec 2006 21:42 - Dear Jennifer, Dave & Family......After spending most of the weekend away from my computer, one of the first thing's I did tonight when I got home was check for any new postings and news about Jaymun. As always, with tears in my eyes, I read about Jaymun's recovery. I was sooooo happy to hear about his progress and will continue to pray for each and every member of your family. As difficult as this experience has been for you, Jennifer, Dave and Jaymun....I have no doubt that it has been just as difficult for the rest of the children as well. I applaud your strength, your faith, your love for one another and your love for God.

I also read with heartache how you are having to re-introduce Jaymun to the love you have for him and your comforting touch. I can relate to this. We experience this with my nephew who was born with a very rare neurological disease. His poor little body went through so much poking and prodding.....intrusions that no little baby should ever have to endure. But just at Garrett did, Jaymun knows your love for him.

Finally, I read your last entry about the Night Sky Mural. It gave me faith, or a reminder that there really are people out there who do acts of kindness just because. What Jeff did for Devon and your family, as well as the Children's Hospital is absolutely amazing. (Not to mention the client who paid for Jeff's travel expenses). I sent Jeff an e-mail letting him know what an amazing and talented person he is. I envy Devon for being able to sleep under those beautiful stars everynight. I hope it brings him piece and comfort !

Kaat Family.....I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year. I know the circumstances weren't ideal, but considering the past few weeks you have had, I know you are grateful for the Christmas that you ended up with.
Peace and Happiness To You All !!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Mary (Houston TX)
PS......hope the rest of the family has gotten over the stomache flu!!

Sat, 23 Dec 2006 20:47 - Hi Dave, Jennifer, Ben, Kirsten, Devon, Sean and Jaymun,
It was good to meet all of you this week... well, I got to look in on Jaymun but didn't actually get to meet him. I hope to return one day and meet him though. I just wanted to say thanks for all of your hospitality and for letting me get to know all of you. I had a great time.
Jaymun is going to be a really lucky boy when he goes home and has all of you to surround him and smother him with your love. I am praying for all of you. Jeff Stewart, SLC, Utah
