Mon, 4 Dec 2006 01:48 - I have been just aching to know how everything went on Friday for Devon and Jaymun. I was SOOO happy to see your journal entry when I came to work today! I love all the photos you took; it's the next best thing to being there!
Mark ran his Team in Training marathon yesterday in Sacramento - he had another personal record: 3 hours, 30 minutes; pretty awesome for it being his 4th marathon this year. He is a bit sore today, but triumphant none the less. Our birthday was saturday (yes, we both have the same birthday) and it was such a fantastic weekend with the event and with friends; but I have to say that nothing was as great this last weekend as seeing Devon and Jaymun's beautiful faces and to read your journal entry.
Thanks again for being so diligent with your journal entries; it's really the only way for us to stay connected to what's going on in your lives! - Jill Holstein

Sun, 3 Dec 2006 07:23 - I read your site and wanted to send a "yay God" out to Jaymun and your whole family. I am in Houston, TX and found you through my sisters site Lyonsfamily.org. Jaymun is beautiful. My sisters kids end all of their prayers with a YAY GOD, and I wanted you to know that you will have plenty of 'Yay God's' coming your way from down South. Angie in Houston.

We continue to keep you in our thoughts & prayers. The Ress Family - Todd, Jenny, Asha, Ryder & Kole

Thu, 30 Nov 2006 15:33 - Dear Brother and Sister, How could we not sign the guestbook of our dear friends (I canít say dear old friends, considering my own age). Our thoughts and prayers are with you practically each day, and today I solicited the prayers of the whole congregation on your and your sonís behalf. Itís hard to imagine what itís like trying to keep day-to-day family life going and then balancing all that normal busyness with this too. But Iím sure no sacrifice is too great just to see your dear son healed. Thanks, on behalf of Jaymun, for all your self-denial during these trying months. Keep courage, friends. When I consider how many and various ailments and conditions our Lord Jesus healed, how can we doubt that this peculiar trial is just as all of those were. That is our prayer for you today. Thanks so much for journaling the whole experience Ė Iím sure it will be a blessing far beyond those who are supporting you. To think it might be just what someone else needs as they enter into the valley of uncertainty called cancer patient. We love you, Pastor & Mrs. Lipsy and Family - Pompton Lakes, New Jersey

Mon, 27 Nov 2006 07:39 - Jennifer - you are so right - you and your family are the perfect match for Jaymun - Your family is so close and has such a deep close relationship with each other and with God. Just watching and reading about how you are able to "live" through probably the worse thing a parent can go through is an inspiration to all. Everyone of us should and must remember to love - to love our family, friends and even those we don't know. We can allow God's love to flow from us - to show/tell others we love them - even when we feel that there is nothing left inside to give. Thank you Jennifer for your friendship and your website. We truly love your family. Love - Bill, Laura Stephanie & Amberlyn Kern
