We don't have enough toes and fingers to count how many times we've
visited your website and how many times we think of Jaymun during
our training for Team in Training. Our coach made a special
announcement the other night at training about Jaymun and encouraged
everyone to visit the website. We've raised over $10,000 in honor
of Jaymun's Journey! We are so thrilled to be a part of your lives
- if it's not too much trouble, please keep on with the journal
entries! So many people who donate ask us how Jaymun is doing and
we direct them to your website and encourage them to read your
journal entries. We've put Jaymun's photo with Mark on our website
(go to the Team in Training
link to have a
look!) Thanks again for letting us in on this time in your life - I
know you've touched people with your story.

Jennifer and family- My name is Danielle and I live in Mesa, AZ. I started
reading your journal 2-3 weeks ago after reading about Jaymun in Jody
Ferlaak's Nitty.Gritty blog
. I am 21 years old and almost 16 weeks
pregnant with my first baby. The reason that it is important that I tell you
that is because God has used your family in huge ways to teach me about
trusting Him and looking to Him for strength. When I first started reading
your journal, my mind obviously jumped to the thought right away about what
I would do if I was encountered with the same enormous trial. I want to say
I'd be able to handle it, but I know I could not....at least NOT ON MY OWN!
Your journals and testimony have just proven what I already know to be
true-that our God is a BIG God and that HE gives us strength when we do not
have it. He will be there through many up's and down's to lean upon. At
this point in my pregnancy everything is completely normal and going very
smoothly. But you have just opened my eyes once again to the unimaginable
turns our lives can take in a minute's time. And you have reminded me that
when life does take those turns that my immediate reaction needs to be to
place all of my trust in the Lord. I doubt you are perfect at doing
this...and the reason I say that is because I don't know of anyone who IS
perfect at placing their complete trust in Him, but I can say that you are
good enough at it that it has impacted my life and made me want to strive to
be as good at it as you are! I pray for you and your family often. Please
know that even if only 15 people are reading this journal, that it has
impacted at least one of us readers very deeply. I check almost daily for
updates. Thank you for allowing God to use you in these ways which are so
painful and difficult- He is being GLORIFIED through you and each one in
your precious family! Danielle

You are a very special little boy! Not only have you started to fight so
courageously from a very early age, you also have inspired all of us
with your smile and your strength. We are sure some day you will
learn something from most of the people in this forum; but, right
now, you are the one teaching us. We pray for your early recovery and
ask the Lord to give your family warmth and patience to go through
these difficult moments. Tons of kisses and keep it up!

I too found your blog through Nitty.Gritty
. I have followed your story and progress with Jaymun. We will continue to keep your family in our prayers. It is hard for me to understand the whole picture, but I do take comfort in knowing the Lord knows and understands the whole picture, and he is aware of our trials.
Please know that you have touched many hearts through this blog. It is worth the time you have spent on it while not cuddling your sweet baby boy.
Many prayers are being said on your behalf!

I started reading your blog about three months ago and I check it daily for updated journal entries and pictures. Jaymun, you are one handsome fella!! I love your smiles and how sweet you look in all those cute clothes. You are so lucky to be part of a great big loving family, and a family who relies on their faith and trust in God. I have no doubt that through all this pain and heartache, God placed you in their lives because HE knew you would be well loved and taken care of. I'm sorry your little life has been so hard, but I continue to pray that God will continue to send his angels to keep watch over you.
To the rest of the family, I hope and pray that God will continue to make his presence known to you. That he will send strangers to encourage you, and loved ones to keep you strong. I am amazed by your strength, and touched that you can share this story with so many people.
I am in Roanoke, Virginia and I found your blog through a link to another blog I read - Nitty.Gritty
. I just want you to know that you and Jaymun's story have touched my life and I keep you and your family in my prayers. Please keep up with the blog - even if nobody reads it, it will be something you can come back to in the future and see where God was taking you.
God Bless You All, Heather Beyer - Roanoke, VA

So, my favorite family!!! I am praying things are going well at home.
As much as I miss you, it is not enough to want to see you, if you know what I mean.
I hope Jaymun can have a little break at home with the family that loves him soo much, he deserves it.
You all have been so strong in all your efforts for Jaymun. I can imagine keeping this blog can be time consuming, but I think a lot of people are touched by it, many of them nurses :)
Just letting you know I think about you all, especially Jaymun everyday!!!!

Dave and Jennifer, May we join our prayers with you right now? "In Jesus' mighty name, we
curse this cancer to it's roots. Infirmity leave in Jesus name! I speak to Jaymun's body to come in line with the word of God. Thank you Lord for
your healing... we receive it in Jesus' name!"
Mark 11:23 "When you pray, believe that you receive..." This verse has
been a great teacher to me. Let it root in you deeply. God bless you both
as you continue to learn what it means to be a trusting child in the arms
of God. We love you! Tom and Vicki Elie

This is from your aunt who is tormented by the lack of being able to visit and hold your hands.
Being "helpless feeling" is about all I can say.
I must admit that as much as some of your journaling hurts to read, it also makes me feel glad that you are able to be as honest with all of us about how it affects you. We have learned so much from your experiences and don't ever feel that you can't be completely honest.
We have shared this site with many people and even though you may not hear from them, you should know that I can guarantee you that you are all being prayed for. This note brings all my love and wishes.
Love, Aunt Janet
